Remembering a Dream: Queen's Night at the Opera

Brian May re-visits Rockfield Studios and helps piece together the history behind Bohemian Rhapsody.  What a great bit of history, and what a great motivation to do everything we can at Manifold Recording to capture everything that technology allows: HD (or better) video, high-rate 24-bit audio, the works.  Enjoy!

  1. Brian May’s comment “the fingers tend to be a little bit predictable unless led by the brain”, is a wonderful and simply stated affirmation of what music education can offer. In the current popular musical culture which adorns inspiration while holding contempt for aspiration, I welcomed Brian’s quote and also found it surprising. In 2007, Brian received his PhD in Astrophysics. Now, that is NOT surprising. We are literally and maybe figuratively the third rock from the sun. Rock on, Brian May. – Gary Powell
